A Cooperative Learning Exercise Using Glacial Gravels

In this article, the authors describe a coopeartive learning activity that they devised for use in an introductory geology class. The activity involves having teams of students identify gravels taken from a particular location and then having the teams determine as much of the geologic history of the specimens as possible.
