This site from Don Reed of San Jose State University is a virtual research cruise that takes viewers on a virtual expedition to acquire and interpret a survey of the San Francisco Bay floor using high resolution seafloor mapping data. The site includes interviews, articles, maps, images, definitions, data acquisition methods, explanations and a site evaluation as the "voyage" proceeds.
