This article includes a peer-rating form used to assess participation on group projects by the participants. Self-ratings and test grades are correlated with peer ratings. There was no evidence of gender bias. 7% of students in sophomore chemistry classes received low ratings for teammates; most of these were also getting D's or F's in the class.
