Field Guide to Geologic Excursions in Southwest Montana
David W. (ed) Mogk 1995 Northwest Geology v24

This volume of field trips and road logs was published to accompany the Rocky Mountain section meeting of the Geological Society of America held in Bozeman, Montana. The field trips included in this volume span the entire geologic record, from Archean basement to Holocene tectonism and landscape evolution, and include topical issues of human interactions with our natural resources and the environment. The road logs themselves are an impressive chronicle of a huge body of work that has been compiled by numerous workers throughout the region.
