This is an undergraduate General Microbiology course offered as part of the Red Layer Microbial Observatory (RLMO) Project's Original Waksman/NSF Supported Courses and Workshops. The course is a component of RLMO's education and outreach programs with goals of using microbial diversity and biotechnology to enhance learning. The site provides links to the course syllabus, unit one and unit two lectures, culture-based labs and templates, and molecular-based labs and templates, all of which are downloadable Microsoft Word documents. The site also contains links to the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Waksman Foundation for Microbiology, and a website to learn more about this RLMO project.
