The Princeton Ocean Model (POM) is a sigma coordinate, free surface, ocean model that includes a turbulence sub-model. The tool has been used for modeling of estuaries, coastal regions, basins and global oceans. This site allows users to freely download the modeling tool, codes, user's guide, and other information about using the POM. The site also features links to applications and forecast systems currently using the model, other ocean models, data sources, publications, a users’ forum, and other national agencies, labs, and organizations related to ocean modeling.
