The Stillwater Complex, Montana: Geology and Guide
Gerald Czamanske, Michael Zientek 1985 Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology Special Publication 92

This Special Publication contains a geological synthesis of the Stillwater Complex and gives detailed directions to, and descriptions of, outstanding exposures. It is intended to provide the opportunity for geologists to learn much about Stillwater Complex geology by self-guided study of outcrops and rock sequences in the field. Many contributions include unpublished data compiled solely for this volume. In addition, maps which were previously published but are largely unavailable were updated and reproduced. In general, only limited interpretation or discussion is presented and the emphasis is on field and laboratory observations.
