This site from the Colorado School of Mines features a web-based introduction to the applications of the geosciences. These materials encapsulate a World Wide Web-based cross-disciplinary course built on the use of hypothetical scenarios to teach the fundamentals of geophysical exploration. Topics covered include gravity, magnetic surveys, DC resistivity, refraction seismology, and maps.
