This site from National Geographic describes a study indicating that 1 in 3 primates in the world are at risk of imminent extinction. The study lists the top 25 endangered primates, but notes that there are 195 species of primates that remain endangered, most of them in found in the world's biodiversity hotspots: 25 regions identified by Conservation International which cover less than 2 percent of Earth's land surface but harbor more than 60 percent of all terrestrial plant and animal diversity.
