Dr. Bridget James

School of the Environment

Dr. Bridget James is a full-time Senior Lecturer for the School of the Environment at San Francisco State University, where she teaches upper and lower division general education geology courses.  She also teaches part-time at De Anza College and the San Mateo Community College District.  Overall, she has been an educator in Geology, Oceanography and Meteorology since 2001, and an online educator since 2008.

Bridget served as a Cohort 1 Change Agent and as a Peer Leader in the SAGE 2YC project https://serc.carleton.edu/sage2yc/teams/noca/index.html and as a board member of NAGT 2YC. She also just recently finished her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership with a focus in Geoscience Education from San Francisco State University.
