Bridget James is a full-time Senior Lecturer for the Department of Earth & Climate Sciences at San Francisco State University, where she teaches upper- and lower-division general education geology courses. She also teaches Weather & Climate processes part-time at De Anza College. Overall, she has been an educator in Geology, Oceanography and Meteorology for the past 20 years, with the last 10 of those years including fully online courses. She has experience using the following Learning Management Systems: Etudes, Blackboard, Moodle and Canvas.
Bridget is also works as a "Northern California Change Agent" within the SAGE 2YC project https://serc.carleton.edu/sage2yc/teams/noca/index.html and she is a Kendall-Hunt Publishing Company author and co-author in the "Discover Planet Earth" series of undergraduate textbooks.
