The National Science Foundation provides funding for the operational costs of the workshop plus room, board, and workshop materials for the participants. To be supported by these funds, participants must be either a US citizen, a permanent resident, or in the employ of a US institution. If you don't meet these requirements and are interested in participating in a workshop at your own expense, please contact the workshop conveners.

If you are accepted for the workshop, you will be asked to complete a registration form to provide us with more information.

Questions about your institution and courses
Describe the educational institution at which you teach, the types of introductory geoscience courses that you teach (including numbers of students, course type, lecture/seminar/laboratory, etc.) and general characteristics of student populations in your classes (i.e., student demographics, educational backgrounds, ages, experience levels, etc.).

In what semester or quarter will you next teach the introductory course(s) that would include The Math you Need? (Please give both semester/quarter and year)

Describe the current state of quantitative skills inclusion in your introductory geoscience course(s). That is, do you currently include quantitative aspects of geoscience?
