Here's my question to Lou about the Save Image window:
-----------
Our only difficulty with Jules was when we first went to the Save Image window, some folks couldn't get it to open. After some turning off of pop-up blockers and instructions from me to search for already open windows with the title "Save Image," all but one person got it open. Despite trying several things, he never could see that window... Any ideas what might have happened?
---------
And here's his response:
---------
Well, you were looking for the obvious things. Pop-up blockers on IE can be very hard to remove because there appears to be several on/off settings. There's also the possibility of 3rd party software (like spyware and adware blockers) that was installed and is preventing pop-ups. I'm afraid this will be an ongoing battle, esp. on Windows systems, with no general solution.
--------
Soooo, seems like turning off _all_ pop-up blockers is one option. Another option would be downloading and installing a new browser application such as Firefox. If anyone continues to experience problems with this, I recommend that you contact Lou Estey via email: (lou@unavco.org).

I feel very lucky after reading about the difficulties encountered with the "Save Image" function. I have my computer firewalled, my pop-up blockers are on, and even with 8 windows open simultaneously, I was able to save the image. Everything worked so perfectly that I must be in line for a major disaster when I attempt to use it in my classroom. ;-)

I could download the image after turning off my pop up blocker fine.
Need to test this on my school computer to make sure that is possible also..

I did not have any problems saving a picture either but thanks for alerting me about the "test drive" at school where my computer equipment is not the latest or greatest. There's nothing worse than falling flat in the classroom surrounded by middle schoolers after a big buildup!%~)
