In the Spring my students will be working on a research paper about the planets. This year, students will use Excel to display their data (rather than by hand or photocopying!).

Weird- the investigation template did not copy over exactly as it appears on my computer. On the Solar System Student Worksheet, data investigation steps are listed (since they are not on the template).

This looks like a good way to show your expectations to students that they are able to use spreadsheet software. Your bar graph of the planetary tilts was certainly a new way to look at this info!

This is a nice, simple way for the kids to compare one planet to the other and using Excel- Nasa Fact Sheets are also another great place for you to get some good data on the planets as well as moons.
