Figure 5. Aerial photo (taken in 2004) of delta and sediments deposited into Upper Las Vegas Bay by Las Vegas Wash where it flows into Lake Mead. The deposition of sediments has already filled in much of the bay, and as a result the boat ramp and marina (part of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area) have been abandoned.
