Background Information

Teresa Riley is a Professor of Economics at Youngstown State University. She has worked at Youngstown State since 1984. Prior to joining the faculty at Youngstown State, she was employed at Ithaca College for 1 1/2 years and at Denison University for a year. She received her Ph.D. from Syracuse University in 1984.

Related Pedagogical Projects

Teresa was involved in one NSF funded grant - "Teaching Microeconomic Principles Through a Simulated Economy." The purpose of the grant was to develop two computer simulated economies and to examine the effect of the simulations on student learning.

Teresa teaches Principles of Microeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Public Finance, Labor Economics and Health Economics. She is also involved in teaching economic and personal finance concepts to K – 12th grade teachers.
