Parking

Grinnell College does not enforce any parking lot restrictions over weekends; please continue to observe other parking requirements such as handicapped spaces and loading zones. The nearest parking lot to Noyce and the Rosenfield Center is just east of the railroad tracks on the south side of Eighth Ave. In the unlikely event that this lot is full, consult the map above for other parking areas, such as the lot behind the Forum (enter from Sixth Ave near railroad tracks.

All participants who needed housing will stay at one of three places:

Grinnell House (College guest house, 3 blocks from workshop site), 1011 Park St.

Carriage House Bed and Breakfast (3 blocks from workshop site), 1133 Broad St.

Country Inn, 1710 West St. South (on Hwy 146, near I-80, 5 minute drive to workshop site)

Meals

All guest facilities offer breakfast; lunch and dinners will be served in the Rosenfield Center, and snacks are provided for all participants during the day. Meals in transit to and from Grinnell are the responsibility of the participants or their home institutions.

Workshop Sessions

Most sessions will be held in the Noyce Science Center, with one or two sessions in the Creative Computing Lab in the College Forum. Noyce is easy to find, but can be hard to navigate. There are building maps inside each entrance of the building.
