
Erik Haroldson
Austin Peay State University
Erik L. Haroldson currently teaches Mineralogy, Petrology, Geochemistry, and Physical Geology at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. Prior to graduate study, he worked in the mineral exploration industry in areas of the southwestern US, Mexico, and Canada. As an Economic Geologist, Erik greatly enjoys engaging undergraduate students in research. One of his current projects is looking at trace occurrences of Mississippi Valley-type mineralization in areas of Tennessee and Kentucky. Erik also enjoys pursuing Geoscience Education Research having recently published on the usage of improvisational (improv) theater games in upper division classrooms to foster community and develop student's transferable skills.
