I'm a professor of practice in the Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science (MEMS) department at Washington University in St. Louis (WashU). I teach courses in computer-aided design, statics and mechanics of materials, numerical methods and matrix algebra, and finite-element methods. My research involves studying how cilia beat through image analysis and computational simulations.

Forward and inverse kinematics of a robot arm part of Teaching Computation with MATLAB:MATLAB Workshop 2024:Activities
Students will cover the derivation of the forward kinematics of a robot arm with an end effector (effector position as a function of joint angle) and write a forward kinematics function. They will then cover ...
Area Moment of Inertia Calculator part of Teaching Computation with MATLAB:MATLAB Workshop 2020:Activities
Students must use Matlab to draw a region of interest on an image and calculate properties of the shape such as area, area moment of inertia, and principal axes.
