This set of education modules on Hawaiian geology, volcanology and hazards uses fun, highly interactive methods of learning to engage students in science. Each module is an in-depth, multihour activity that involves using large maps and other hands-on materials. To prepare the activity, instructors will have to print the maps and materials provided. Once the activity has been run, we believe you will recognize the benefits of engaging students in this kind of experiential and stimulating educational activity.
