Chris' map screen shot

1. My screen shot shows a world map with country boundaries, US states, rivers of the world in orange, and world lakes in dark blue.

2. Any kind of data having to do with longitude and latitude can be brought into GIS. Anything to do with countries, states, boundaries, etc.

3. A data set that I would be curious about is sediment types or rock types in various areas. Not sure if that would be possible.

4. I am wondering if there is some way of doing what I mentioned above or a way that students could this for tracking plate movement over time.
