What does your map show? Please briefly describe it.
--My map shows the cities and volcanos of the world, as downloaded from the USGS website.
What kinds of data can you bring into a GIS?
--Spatial data is what can be displayed, but then you can add information on all attributes of the data sets. For example, the volcanoes layer can have information attached on date of activity, number of people affected, height, circumference, etc.
List at least one other dataset containing latitude and longitude coordinates.
--Schools in the U.S would have latitude and longitude coordinates.
What lingering questions (if any) do you have from today's workshop?
--This workshop was very helpful; no questions!
