What does your map show? Please briefly describe it.
There are three screen shots in the atached file. what is shown is described under each screen shot.
What kinds of data can you bring into a GIS?
Anything with longitudinal or lattitudinal attributes. This can can include images.
List at least one other dataset containing latitude and longitude coordinates.
Well we talked about elevation information, location of lake and rivers, etc. However, also if you were doing any kind of field study and collected positional data from said study, such as climate gradations, location of study species, etc.
What lingering questions (if any) do you have from today's workshop?
For me, being a Biology and Chemistry teacher with a lean towards Cellular and Molecular Biology, I am trying to figure out how I personally might use or if I'd use it in the classroom. However, I am also the Department Chair so I definitely can see how I can train others to use it.
