Ready to Participate in Distance Learning Workshop

To prepare for the seminar, make sure you have done the following:

Go to http://eos-webster.sr.unh.edu

and select the "Data" button (the third button one the navigation bar) and then choose "Previous Orders" from the submenu list. You'll be prompted for a user name and password.

You will then see a list of orders for this user. (We created a user "guest" and placed a couple of orders so that it would be easier for folks to download the data. You will need to download Order #6109 and Order #6111). Please DO NOT hit the delete button. Click on the order number link. The order page appears on the screen. There are two buttons for download of the data. Either is ok. You can preview the files before you download by clicking the links on the order page, but it is not necessary to do so.

After you have downloaded the data, try unzipping it.

To preview the chapter we will be using in the seminar, go to: http://serc.carleton.edu/eet/climate/index.html
