Background Information

Rik Hafer has been at SIUE since 1989. His teaching interersts are mostly in the areas of macroeconomincs and finance, though recently he has begun teaching a course on ethics and economics. He is the author and co-author of several books, including Principles of Macroeconomics: The Way We Live (with Susan Feigenbaum) published by Worth (2012). Prior to joining the SIUE faculty, he worked as a research economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
