Marcelo Clerici-Arias teaches economics at Stanford University, where he is the Director of Honors Programs at the Department of Economics and the Public Policy Programs. For a dozen years Marcelo was the Associate Director of Stanford's Center for Teaching and Learning, working with faculty and graduate students on pedagogy across disciplines.
Related Pedagogical Projects
Marcelo has worked on the implementation and assessment of several active learning techniques, among them just-in-time teaching, personal response systems (clickers), team-based learning, as well as active learning spaces. Marcelo particularly specializes in ways of incorporating active learning in large classes.
