Background Information
My primary focus is teaching principles of economics courses, both micro and macro. I am also active on various college committees, including Academic Assessment and Web Governance.
Off campus, I keep very busy with a husband and grandson who lives with us. I enjoy the local live music scene, primarily jazz, and I play keyboard on Sunday mornings at church. Yes, I was a music major before changing to Economics!
Related Pedagogical Projects
I was heavily involved in creating Parkland's First Year Experience program, redesigning and teaching the college success course. I handed over the reins a few years ago, but my experience with the college success course has had a significant impact on the way I teach economics students.
