Background Information
I am currently in my second year as Economics Instructor at Clark College. I started out as Adjunct Instructor at Avila University in Kansas City in 2013, and then at Baker University and Neosho County Community College, before moving on to take a full-time position at Clark College.
I earned my M.A. (as a Fulbright Scholar) and my PhD. from the University of Kansas in May 2014. My research interest is in international capital flows, and I am particularly interested in the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) flows to developing countries.
Related Pedagogical Projects
I have attended several regional conferences that are focused on improving teaching and ensuring student success. I am currently working on building a Quality Matters certified online Introduction to Economics class. I am committed to continue working on improving my teaching in all platforms - online, face-to-face and everything in between, and to make learning accessible to all students regardless of their background or disability status. I look forward to collaborating with and learning from the great people at CTREE 2017.
