Background Information

I teach Micro and Macro principles as well as a several courses in Business Administration. I also serve as the Program Coordinator for Business Administration degree (that's sort of a scaled-down version of a Department Chair). For the past several years, I have also been serving as the Chair of the Mitchell Essential Learning Outcomes (MELO) committee, which oversees assessment of General Education on our campus. Off campus, I like to run (though I am much slower than I used to be). For better or worse, my day-to-day outlook on life varies directly with the fortunes of the Boston Red Sox.

Our MELO committee has presented at the League for Innovations and the Community College Conference on Learning Assessment, describing our efforts at improving general education assessment, in order to improve teaching and learning at out College.
