Figure 2 - Wildfires burned mid-elevation forests during the summer of 2006 and 2007 in central Idaho. A large fire-related debris flow followed these mixed severity fires. The debris flow deposit telescoped out of and incised through the historic perched fan. There is a 16 ft red raft in the left photo on the right side of the picture (upstream side of the fan).
