Figure 4. Figures of topographic metrics and landslide frequency of individual tributary basins plotted as a function of tributary confluence distance from the mouth of the Cullasaja River. See figure 3 for reference on tributary basin location. (a, b, and c) are plots of mean elevation, relief, and mean slope and associated (1σ) errors. (d) Shows the hypsometric integral (HI) and (e) shows the landslide frequency in each tributary basin normalized to the basin’s total area in km^2. The gray arrows are shown to illustrate the general trends for each dataset from upstream to downstream.
