Figures for Analysis of Pyroclastic Deposits Learning Activity
Figures including a generalized stratigraphic column and selected photographs showing the outcrop where students conduct the field exercise in central Oregon are provided herein. At this locality, the Bend Pumice, in the lower part of the deposit, and the Tumalo Tuff, in the upper part, are well exposed, allowing for excellent access to the vertical sequence.
