The Landsat 7 data download page provides a number of Landsat 7 scene subsets in LAN and TIFF format. The scenes are images of geomorphic or geographic features such as volcanoes, coastlines, urban areas, or rivers. Events such as fires, floods and volcanic eruptions are also captured with Landsat imagery. The image files are intended for use with Purdue University's MultiSpec software, which can be downloaded free from the site in either PC or Macintosh format. However, the files can also be viewed using standard graphics software. The site also features a presentation on Landsat and remote sensing, and a tutorial for using the Multispec software.

Part of the Cutting Edge collection. The NAGT/DLESE On the Cutting Edge project helps geoscience faculty stay up-to-date with both geoscience research and teaching methods.
