This site serves as a portal for the Earth-Moon-Sun (EMS) Dynamics section of the Modeling for Understanding in Science Education (MUSE) project. Links lead to background material entitled Introduction to Earth-Moon-Sun Dynamics, Explanatory Models, Our Research, Teaching Strategies, Learning Outcomes and Assessment. The twelve classroom activities are arranged as active links in outline form under the topics Introducing Scientific Models, Building the EMS Model, and Applications of the EMS Model.
