Natural Resources Extraction
http://www.nationalgeographic.com/xpeditions/lessons/16/g912/wherefrom.html

This lesson plan encourages students to think about where the natural resources we use come from and the processes by which these resources are extracted. They will also consider the environmental, cultural, and human rights issues that are frequently associated with the extraction of natural resources. Then they will conduct Internet research on specific resources and create presentations to showcase what they have learned.
