The goal of this module is for students to investigate the factors involved in the occurrence of snowfall. It allows students to explore snow storms by learning about various aspects of weather such as precipitation, weather maps, moisture, air masses and air movement. Students listen to stories about a past snow storm in the Puget Sound area, conduct interviews, complete activities, and look at maps to learn more about snow and its affect on our lives.
