In this article, The Why Files examines the pros and cons of different renewable energy sources. The article investigates global warming and whether or not it is a valid threat here on Earth. Renewable energy resources discussed include solar energy, solar hydrogen, solar cells, wind energy, fuel cells for cars, and some odd ideas (such as dumping carbon dioxide into the oceans rather than pollute the atmosphere) that scientists have tried in the past.
