This site features a QuickTime animation recounting the flooding of the Bering Land Bridge after the last glacial maximum approximately 21,000 years ago. Color-coded bathymetry and elevation reveal large-scale patterns of shifting coastlines and environments as the animation moves from 21,000 year ago to the present day in 1,000 year intervals. The film can be forwarded and rewound manually to highlight important stages. It is available in small, medium, and large viewing formats.
