The Geoscience Interactive Databases (GEOID) has been developed for advanced students and researchers, but it may be used by anyone interested in examining the Earth in greater detail. The tool allows access to all data sets currently available from the Discover Our Earth project. You may use GEOID as a mapping or information retrieval tool. You can explore different geological structures by simply zooming in on the geographic area and selecting and displaying proper data sets. Not only can you identify features shown on our maps, you can also upload your own point, line, and polygon type data sets and visualize them with data sets in our digital library. We strongly recommend that you read the users guide before you start the application.
