The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics

This site is a tutorial about the mathematical properties of glide reflections. There are five lessons, which include thinking about glide reflections, describing glide reflections (through the use of translation vectors), creating designs using the concept, composing translations and reflections, and the conclusion or taking stock. Lessons include interactive applets and questions to enhance the concepts covered.
