Mixed waste contains both radioactive and hazardous waste and is therefore difficult to treat and regulate. This EPA site provides links to general and technical information about mixed wastes. The site includes an overview of the mixed waste program, contacts, laws and regulations, guidance for minimizing the generation of mixed waste, and information about identifying, storing, treating, and disposing of it.
