This site is home of Project MICRO(Microscopy In Curriculum - Research Outreach), a product of the Microscopy Society of America (MSA). Project MICRO puts MSA members, teaching materials, and microscopes in middle school classrooms nationwide. The site offers information for microscopists interested in volunteering with local classrooms, tips for teachers wishing to obtain microscopes and recruit microscopy volunteers, and links to resources. Resources include Ask-a-Microscopist, a bibliography with a searchable database, classroom activities, and famous quotes about microscopy.
