This site offers tutorials on three different software tools for online student assessment and discusses the general purposes and usefulness of quizzing and testing, the different types of assessment and question formats, and the pros and cons of online assessments. The site also provides links to a comprehensive list of additional assessment software packages, an example of online quiz results, and a journal article that evaluates a selection of Web-based testing and evaluation systems.
