IDL, the Interactive Data Language, is software for data analysis, visualization, and cross-platform application development. IDL combines all of the tools you need for any type of project, from "quick-look," interactive analysis and display to large-scale commercial programming projects. The IDL product page describes the software and its features. The site includes free trial downloads, press releases, feature and add-ons tours, tools and materials and an image gallery. IDL offers an expansive array of powerful features that make it a helpful data visualization and analysis solution.
