This website is the access page to an interactive pollen data viewer developed by Brown University's Quaternary Environments group. The pollen viewer versions 3.1 and 3.2 show pollen taxa from 21,000 years ago (the last glacial maximum) to today for North America. The maps show the retreating ice sheet and associated rising sea level, so the plant taxa are shown in the paleogeographic context. Users click on vegetation Dynamics on the Quaternary Environments main-page and then activate Pollen Viewer 3.2 to view map series.
