Existential Approaches to Action Research
A. Feldman 2002 Educational Action Research 10(2)

This article discusses existentialism, existential action research, and dimensions of action research. It presents an existential approach to action research with the goal of teaching teachers how to move forward in an authentic way by building a strong understanding of who they are as teachers. Such introspective research increases a teacher’s capacity to choose freely and to act responsibly for themselves and those around them.
