Combining Stream Table Experiments, High-tech Particle Analysis, and the Web to Help Geomorphology Students Evaluate Landform Evolution
Douglas H. Clark, Scott R. Linneman January 2005 Journal Of Geoscience Education v53 n1 p110

This article in the Journal of Geoscience Education features three sequential geomorphology labs that introduce students to concepts of landform evolution, hypothesis testing, and grain-size analysis. The labs combine cutting edge technologies, hands on experience and a field trip that introduce students to these concepts and skills through an inquiry-driven investigation of delta formation, as well as providing a model for conducting geomorphic research during the rest of the term.
