This site provided by the USGS features GeoMAC, an internet-based mapping tool that fire managers and the public can use to access online maps of current fire locations and perimeters in the conterminous 48 States and Alaska. To pinpoint affected areas, information can be downloaded with a standard web browser. The site also has a users' guide.
