In this site, GEOROC (Geochemistry of Rocks of the Oceans and Continents), NAVDAT (The Western North American Volcanic and Intrusive Rock Database) and PetDB (The Petrological Database of the Ocean Floor) have produced relational databases that provide geochemical analyses of igneous rocks and minerals. A wide array of metadata about the samples and descriptions of the analytical procedures are given. The site also provides new features of the databases as they are released, a list of publications and links to current hot topics.
