Logistics

The workshop will be held at the College of William and Mary, with participants staying at the Williamsburg Hospitality House. Workshop meetings will be held in the Alumni House directly across Richmond Road from the Hospitality House. Participants are responsible for all transportation costs to Williamsburg; however, we will provide on-site meals and lodging for all registered participants.

We recommend you use either the Richmond or Newport News airports to fly to Williamsburg. Ground transportation: Groome Transportation 1-800-552-7911. Groome leaves the Airport for Williamsburg every hour on the hour. Exit the airport from the baggage claim area - Groome leaves from the island in the middle of the road. The cost is $40.00 one-way (not including tip) and $71.00 round-trip (excluding tip). If two or more ride together, the one-way cost without tip is $25 each. Other taxis services will cost around $65-$70 each way to Williamsburg. On the return trip back to the airport, the Hospitality House can arrange for a pick-up from Groome transportation.

Newport News/Williamsburg Patrick Henry Airport:

Served by a number of taxicab companies with taxis available at the outside curb. Taxicab fare from the airport to the college is around $35 per car.
