Deep Time Climate and Carbon Cycle

PaleoCO2

Introducing the CO2 Proxy Integration Project (CO2PIP), an innovative initiative building upon the Paleo CO2 project, to provide comprehensive teaching resources aimed at engaging students with authentic data. Our mission is to illuminate the historical fluctuations in atmospheric CO2 levels, particularly during the Phanerozoic era, by leveraging diverse proxy data and methodologies.

CO2PIP is dedicated to enhancing scientific literacy and fostering a deeper understanding of Earth's climate history among students. Through collaborative efforts with the scientific community, we are developing interactive teaching modules that integrate with our research platform (link to research database). These resources empower students to analyze and interpret authentic CO2 proxy data, providing hands-on experience with complex climate datasets.

Join us as we equip the next generation of researchers and educators with the knowledge and skills to address the urgent challenges of our changing climate.
